Landfill and Waste Transfer

Donarbon Ltd operates the UK’s first Landfill Directive compliant, PPC-permitted landfill at its Waterbeach site. The landfill takes all non-hazardous waste such as household waste and mixed skip waste and is also able to take bonded asbestos.

Household waste is delivered by council collection vehicles to purpose-built transfer buildings at Waterbeach and Wisbech. The waste is then loaded into Donarbon’s own dumper trucks and transported to the tip face. There is no need for council collection vehicles to leave tarmac roads and turnaround times can be less than five minutes.
