Recycled Materials

M Dickerson has been recycling aggregates since clearing many of the disused airfields in East Anglia from the 1950s onwards. Mixed construction and demolition wastes such as concrete, bricks and soils are screened and crushed to produce quality recycled materials for use in roadmaking, building construction and restoration.

The Company’s main aggregates yards for the sale of recycled materials are based at Waterbeach in Cambridgeshire and Worlington in Suffolk. Here customers can pick up a range of different materials including hardcore, road planings, top soil etc. M.Dickerson also offers a delivery service for all their materials in loads of up to 28 tonnes.

Incinerator ash from the straw-burning power station at Sutton in Cambridgeshire is screened at the site for use in the manufacture of lightweight building blocks.
