Frimstone Ltd has always provided a service to clear and restore redundant or despoiled sites. Buildings and structures can be removed and the materials processed and reused on site or sold as a recycled material. Frimstone has taken up and recycled most of East Anglia’s airfields since the 1970s with much of the residue being recycled and used in Norfolk’s highways and building development projects.
Frimstone Ltd can also provide site clearance and restoration services, particularly where existing in situ materials can be reprocessed and reused on site or elsewhere. Soils can be utilised on site for restoration works or, where necessary, can be imported and engineered to restore areas back to agricultural or amenity use.
Through our links with land remediation companies we can also offer a clean-up package to restore contaminated or brownfield sites to a suitable standard for reuse or redevelopment. We also utilise soils from our recycling operation and site clearances to restore redundant quarries or despoiled land to bring it back to agricultural or amenity use.
